ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
Passing the tradition.
Preserving the legacy.
The South Texas Hunting Heritage Foundation connects young people with mentors, land, education, and real outdoor experiences that develop ethical hunters, conservationists, and future leaders.
A NOTE FROM GABE LOZANO III, FOUNDER
There was a time when nearly every child in South Texas knew someone who could take them hunting and teach them what it meant to respect wildlife, the land, and the responsibility that comes with harvesting an animal.
Today, many young people never get that opportunity.
The South Texas Hunting Heritage Foundation was created to make sure access, money, or family circumstances do not prevent a child from experiencing the lessons that hunting and the outdoors can provide.
Our goal is not simply to create hunters. It is to help develop responsible young men and women who understand conservation, stewardship, ethics, and the importance of passing those values forward.
